Tasked with being the creative mind first, and group Not-a-therapist second, Stick takes on the position of our guide, helping us navigate the mission we are on, ensuring success and growth at every possible avenue. Stick brings the collective mentor team together, ensuring comradery and teamwork.

ML Wissing is a decorated combat veteran of the United States Army and an accomplished author whose literary work reflects the emotional depth and resilience of military life.
Her poetry collection Fragments offers a powerful glimpse into the experiences of service members during and after deployment, shedding light on critical issues such as post-traumatic stress and veteran suicide.
Fragments has been featured on CBS Radio’s People of Distinction and she is an Honored Listee of Marquis’ Who’s Who in America.

A VA accredited VSO and former US Army Combat Medic (05-16), he is a caring and upright pillar in our community.
Climbing his own path up the mountain, he is willing to help guide people through the VA disability process, give advice on life, or just be a listener of troubles.
D-Lo
Stick Nation Mentor
Before enlisting, he served his community as a firefighter and Basic EMT, then went on to work as a Sheriff’s Deputy. He later became a combat experienced Marine with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
After enduring a series of devastating surgeries that left his body permanently handicapped, he turned his focus toward purpose beyond himself. He is committed to building a strong network of veterans who recognize the impact they can have on the world, working together to reduce the 22 a day until it becomes zero.

Feral Gen X veteran with a fierce loyalty to her brothers and sisters. Equally ready for a good laugh or a serious conversation when it counts. Works in cybersecurity and spends her downtime buried in books, music, and movies whenever she can steal the time.

He entered the Marine Corps a week after high school graduation and served seven years, including duty as a Marine Security Guard at a naval base and with 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines in Anti Tank Assault, working with Dragon and SMAW systems. He also served as a Weapons Custodian.
The Beirut barracks bombing occurred while he was in Infantry Training School, and Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait shortly after he left the military.

He joined the National Guard at 17 and later served on active duty from 1999 to 2002 as a Light Wheel Vehicle Mechanic and non-combat soldier, earning respect for his grit and leadership.
After life’s trials, including three marriages, he found his true soulmate, Michele, and takes greatest pride in his two hardworking sons who share his strong values. A self-proclaimed pirate at heart with a love for coin collecting and finely crafted blades, he is known not only for his toughness but also for his charitable spirit, chivalry, and calm, steady presence.
